In addition to my musical training, I also have a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Throughout my time in graduate school, I worked with Dr. Bassam Shakhashiri as a part of his group, Science Is Fun, to foster science appreciation in communities throughout Wisconsin.  These experiences gave me the opportunity to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds in the pursuit of understanding the wonderful world around us.
