Katie Parrish Brown

Welcome! My name is Katie and I'm a cellist, Irish fiddler, and music teacher based in Western Massachusetts. I have a bachelor's degree in Music with honors from Grinnell College, where I focused on cello performance.

I teach cello lessons to students of all ages and abilities from my home studio in Belchertown. I also teach beginning violin/fiddle lessons to students of all ages. My teaching style is catered towards each student's individual needs and desires, and I am comfortable teaching in a variety of frameworks.

I also perform for weddings, corporate events, and school functions. I’m available as both a soloist or as part of an ensemble.
